What are private colleges?
We work with a number of Private Colleges and universities. They are more expensive than State universities but have different entry requirements. One of our private universities even offers intensive bachelor degree courses in two years (so you save a year.) A good alternative if you missed deadlines for state university applications. They have a wide international attraction and are especially good at looking after overseas students.
What is a foundation course?
Foundation Programmes are especially attractive for overseas students who want to go to a British university, but need to learn more English and Study Skills first. Talk to us now if you are 16 or older and want to find out about this back-door to UK universities.
Can I try out a course before I commit?
Yes, there are taster courses. You can try out university coursework whilst improving your English. If you want to go to university either in Britain, or at home, but have not yet chosen what subject you wish to study, this could be a perfect solution for you! Ask us about it.
Will I need a visa to study in Britain?
You will need to have student visa to study in Britain if you are a citizen of a country outside the European Union. The visa will need to be obtained by application to the British Embassy in your home country. It can take some time to be issued so you will need to arrange this well in advance of coming to Britain to study. The application will ask you to provide personal and financial details, and you will also need to have a firm acceptance letter from the university where you will be studying.
How do I apply?
All applications to British universities (except the private institutions) are sent through a central administration process and will be read personally by Admissions Tutors. They will select the best candidates from the range of British and overseas students who have applied. Their decision to offer a university place will be based on the accuracy and quality of your application.
As an overseas student competing with British candidates for a place at university it is vital that you present the best possible application - we will help you to achieve this.
