Daniel Parsons read Human Sciences at Magdalen College, Oxford. A qualified teacher, he has spent many years in school classrooms and in organising residential language courses for students wanting to prepare for university studies in Britain. He has arranged and hosted many academic programmes for international students, especially relating to global environmental issues. He has wide experience of British universities and the range of courses on offer, and is skilled at matching applicants to the best university opportunities available to them. Daniel also has
substantial experience of the British Boarding school world, and travels regularly to meet head teachers and staff. He and his partner Alexandra von Buelow, have a profound knowledge of the uniquely individual character of the schools, This allows them to offer parents valuable advice when recommending schools to suit their children.
Paul Parsons, Daniel's son, also attended Magdalen College, Oxford where he read Zoology. After university Paul began a career in investment management in London, specialising in Japanese and Asian markets. He was able to spend six years in Hong Kong and Singapore working in this field, before returning to London to head up the Asian side of a very successful emerging markets team at the Swiss bank, Pictet. In 2001, he and some colleagues left to set up a specialist emerging markets investment company, Polunin Capital Partners. After almost 20 years of work in
the financial sector, Paul felt it was time for a change of emphasis and so joined his father in helping others to gain access to an education system that was chiefly responsible for his own success.
