Introduction
A Master's degree takes at least one year of full-time study to complete and will be research-based or a taught course. Successful completion provides you with a qualification such as a Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Law (LLM). Some Master's degrees will be directly related to a chosen career. Others can prepare you for further studies.

Applications may be online or paper, depending on the university. There is no central application process. Applications are made to individual universities of your choice. Your tutor can watch the progress of your work, and will make comments as necessary to ensure that you complete and submit the best possible application. We advise students to apply to several different courses.
All finished applications are read personally by Admissions Tutors in the universities. Their decision is based on the accuracy and quality of your application, the status of your undergraduate degree and your university references. It is essential therefore that your application is a good one, containing all the important information about you in concise and clearly understood English.
